RuggaMatrix – Show 032 – Optimus Kiss

The Lions are finished for another four years but now RuggaMatrix looks forward to the Tri Nations.
This week we wrap up the Lions series with a close look at the third Test won by the tourists.
We also question the concept of the TMO and its impact on the game. Ewen McKenzie is out of contact in country Victoria this week but Les Kiss more than makes up for Link’s absence. From the Lions analysis to our in-depth analysis Kiss is required listening.
We head across to New Zealand to catch up with Marc Hinton from www.rugbyheaven.co.nz. Hinton gives us the latest on the re-signing of the current All Blacks coaching staff and the outlook for the All Blacks in the Tri Nations.
Our in-depth analysis subject this week is MANAGEMENT.
It’s the thing that comes before anything else. Today we discuss how vital a good management structure is to a successful team and how head coaches differ in their approach. From the baggage man to the head coach … proper management of a team is critical. We give you the inside view and tips from elite national and provincial level.
RuggaMatrix – Show 016 – Ireland’s Call

Episode 016 is dominated by Ireland’s Six Nations triumph over Wales.
Les Kiss, Ireland’s defence guru, takes time out from celebrations to give us an incredibly detailed look inside the victorious team. Ireland’s first Grand Slam in 61 years has been a huge story and we’re lucky enough to have one of its key architects.
Aside from Ireland’s glory we look at the Super 14 with Marc Hinton from www.rugbyheaven.co.nz. Marc takes us through some of the big match ups this weekend and also drops off the Hurricanes bandwagon for the Chiefs. (All this from a Dunedin lad too)
ANALYSIS – THE BREAKDOWN
This week we look in depth at the breakdown and the refereeing of it. The issue came to a head last weekend when the Bulls and Hurricanes lost five players to yellow cards. Referee Matt Goddard copped a lot of flak as a result but here at RuggaMatrix we bring balance to the debate and show support for him.
It’s a good subject to listen to and one that won’t go away in a hurry.
Don’t forget club rugby begins in Sydney this week and you can get your grassroots fix at www.clubrugby.com.au, another RuggaMatrix production.
RuggaMatrix – Show 012 – Smit and Kiss

RuggaMatrix is back with more big names as the Six Nations hits a turning point and SANZAR debates the future.
Our special guest star is South African captain John Smit.
The World Cup winning skipper is currently preparing for a heavyweight showdown with the Auckland Blues in New Zealand. Last weekend Smith played off the bench against the Chiefs in a high quality clash in the wet in Hamilton. Smit covers it all with RuggaMatrix this week. From the Sharks, Andrew Johns, George Gregan, the future of SANZAR, the referees and his own future it’s all there. Smit joins us on tour with the Sharks in New Zealand and Marc Hinton returns from www.rugbyheaven.co.nz.
Les Kiss gives us an exclusive snapshot inside the Ireland camp following their out-muscling of England at Croke Park. There’s a real determination about the Irishmen and Kiss will tell all.
We look at the Six Nations in depth with both Kiss and Stade Francais Head Coach Ewen McKenzie. McKenzie’s team was decimated by selections over the weekend and we find out just how he coped.
We also find out what the talk is in France about the Barbarians playing the Wallabies and Sonny Bill Williams coming back to Australia. Marc Hinton from www.rugbyheaven.co.nz is back for the Kiwi perspective and no doubt he’ll be crowing about the Hurricanes upset win over the Crusaders in Round 3 of the Super 14.
SANZAR – The Future is the subject of our in depth analysis this week.
The panel will make their own recommendations about the way forward. Should it be Super 15, Super 10 with more games or something else completely?
