It’s Six Nations time again and we have the latest news from the defending title holders.

Donncha O’Callaghan is our special guest.

The Muster and Lions squad member gives RuggaMatrix the inside word on his knee injury and when he expects to be back.

Donncha is also an ambassador for Unicef and he’s been working hard in helping to raise awareness for the devastation in Haiti.

See what you can do here.

We have a full Six Nations preview and talk Super Rugby with Ewen McKenzie.

Our In-Depth analysis looks at MAN DOWN.

What happens when you cop a yellow or red card? What plans should you have in place? What position is better to lose?

Once again we open up the subject with our expert panel.

RuggaMatrix – Show 033 – Rocky Mountain High

World heavyweights Australia and New Zealand clash this weekend to open the 2009 Tri Nations.

Former Wallaby and Munster man … now Wallaby assistant coach … Jim Williams … joins the panel just before jumping on the plane to Auckland.

Williams says there’s an edge to this match which surely means we’re in for an epic start to the Bledisloe Cup. He also reflects on his days at Munster as a player and coach.

We also head north to the United States and Canada to check out the RWC qualifiers between the North American neighbours. Bruce McLane talks about the disappointment of US performance in game two after winning game one.

Canadian head coach Kieran Crowley takes our call while driving through the Rocky Mountains.

A highly respected coach, Crowley gives us a full and frank assessment of Canadian rugby and also adds some thoughts on the Bledisloe Cup.

Our in-depth analysis subject this week is WEATHER.

As the Wallabies head to a wet and windy Auckland we ask the question to our coaching panel, how does the weather impact you? We cover some real examples where teams have lost due to their tactics in poor weather. How much indoor training should a team do during the week? Do you travel early to a country with different weather or climate? It’s another important issue that coaches have to deal with as they prepare for match day.

RuggaMatrix – Show 023 – The Rock

He’s the man the whole world is talking about and he’s on RuggaMatrix for Episode 023 – The Rock.

Leinster flanker Rocky Elsom joins the full panel this week to talk about the Heineken Cup final series and life in general in Ireland. Elsom’s immediate future had not yet been decided but he’s keen to play for the Wallabies when the Test programme resumes in June. He spends a good 40 minutes with the panel discussing a range of issues that span the globe. Will he stay or will he go after the Heineken Cup Final? He was pretty tight-lipped but we had a crack anyway.

Find out what he thinks of his Leinster teammates and a whole lot more including a summary of Leinster’s win over Munster at the weekend. And what about that Cardiff v Leicester shoot-out in the other semifinal? Lots to talk about indeed.

Following the Elsom interview we look at the final stages of the Super 14 in the southern hemisphere. The Hurricanes v Chiefs is the stand out clash for the weekend ahead.

Our subject for in-depth analysis this week is CATCH AND PASS.

Why has the most basic skill dramatically fallen away in quality in many our professional teams? The panel throws up some reasons for it and offers solutions.
