See what you can do here.

We have a full Six Nations preview and talk Super Rugby with Ewen McKenzie.

Eddie_JonesThis week we revisit the laws of the game with none other than Eddie Jones, coach of Suntory and former Wallabies, Saracens and Brumbies mentor.

It’s a burning issue at the moment but Eddie forces us to take stock and really examine the game closely to the point where you ask yourself… Should we blame the laws or other factors?

As usual he’s a must listen.

The panel wraps up a massive final week of Autumn Internationals with Les Kiss going into detail about the unofficial North v South decider between Six Nations Champions Ireland and Tri Nations Champions South Africa.

Our In Depth Analysis this week is STICK TO YOUR KNITTING, brought to you by bobdwyerrugby.com. Enter the code ‘ruggamatrix’ when checking out your associate membership for a 20% discount.

This week’s subject  is all about sticking to what you know. Too many teams get sucked into playing the game style of their opposition and paying to price.

Today we discuss how teams can avoid falling into the trap of playing someone else’s game.

Les_Kiss

This week we go deep into the Irish bunker to speak at length with Les Kiss ahead of Sunday’s blockbuster at Croke Park against the Grand Slam seeking Wallabies.
All is set for an epic clash between an Australian team boosted by a win over England and the Six Nations champions who are yet to show their stuff this autumn.
We look at England with Les and Ewen McKenzie and see if there are positives to come out of their first up defeat. The return of Jonny Wilkinson is certainly one.
The French take on the world champion Springboks and the All Blacks hit the catwalk in Milan.
Our In-Depth Analysis this week is MOVING ON and as always is brought to you by bobdwyerrugby.com.
What is the process when a player or coach needs to move on? What happens if the retirement doesn’t go smoothly?
Once again our elite panel gives you the answers.

Dick_Muir

This week RuggaMatrix catches up with the South African camp ahead of their Tri-Nations clash with Australia in Perth.

Assistant Springboks coach Dick Muir tells us about the confidence within the camp and the secret to their incredible success.

Les Kiss is still settling back in Ireland so we’ll hear from him in a couple of weeks but Ewen McKenzie has avoided the Swine Flu to give a us a full rundown on happenings in the north including Bloodgate.

Our In-Depth Analysis is THE BIG PLAY.

Inspired by last week’s Bledisloe Cup thriller we ask the question; do teams have a winning play ready for last minute victory? The Australians had a chance to win in the dying moments but failed. Did they have a plan? If they did, what went wrong? The history of the game is littered with breathtaking last second triumphs. We determine whether they are just lucky or well planned. Once again our In-Depth analysis is brought to you by www.bobdwyerrugby.com and he has a special deal for RuggaMatrix listeners.

RuggaMatrix – Show 019 – Flower Power

RuggaMatrix_-_Show_019_-_Flower_power.mp3

RuggaMatrix takes on a family feel for episode 019. Leinster scrumhalf and former Wallaby Chris Whitaker joins us just hours after the arrival of his third child in Dublin and just a few days after qualifying for the Heineken Cup semis.

Whitaker talks about the gripping finish to the quarter final against Harlequins and throws in a few funny stories about Rocky Elsom as a bonus. We also get the scoop on the new baby’s name.

Les Kiss is still in Sydney but Ewen McKenzie is back in Paris as the Top 14 resumes.

Simnikiwe Xabanisa joins the panel from Johannesburg for all things South Africa.

Our in depth analysis this week is TACTICS.

Kiss and McKenzie give a superb masterclass on the subject that is a must listen.

Congratulations to Ali Wells from Sydney who intros this week’s show. Warning: It’s smokin’ hot!

RuggaMatrix – Show 012 – Smit and Kiss

RuggaMatrix_-_Show_012_-_Smit_and_Kiss.mp3

John_Smit

RuggaMatrix is back with more big names as the Six Nations hits a turning point and SANZAR debates the future.

Our special guest star is South African captain John Smit.

The World Cup winning skipper is currently preparing for a heavyweight showdown with the Auckland Blues in New Zealand. Last weekend Smith played off the bench against the Chiefs in a high quality clash in the wet in Hamilton. Smit covers it all with RuggaMatrix this week. From the Sharks, Andrew Johns, George Gregan, the future of SANZAR, the referees and his own future it’s all there. Smit joins us on tour with the Sharks in New Zealand and Marc Hinton returns from www.rugbyheaven.co.nz.

Les Kiss gives us an exclusive snapshot inside the Ireland camp following their out-muscling of England at Croke Park. There’s a real determination about the Irishmen and Kiss will tell all.

We look at the Six Nations in depth with both Kiss and Stade Francais Head Coach Ewen McKenzie. McKenzie’s team was decimated by selections over the weekend and we find out just how he coped.

We also find out what the talk is in France about the Barbarians playing the Wallabies and Sonny Bill Williams coming back to Australia. Marc Hinton from www.rugbyheaven.co.nz is back for the Kiwi perspective and no doubt he’ll be crowing about the Hurricanes upset win over the Crusaders in Round 3 of the Super 14.

SANZAR – The Future is the subject of our in depth analysis this week.

The panel will make their own recommendations about the way forward. Should it be Super 15, Super 10 with more games or something else completely?
